Rooftops and a church

A view over some rooftops and an episcopal church...
Both done in pen and watercolor on Fabriano CP and HP alternatively(23 x 30.5 cm)

These are lovely Ronnell. Your colors are very dramatic--
also, I absolutely adore your paintings of the birdhouses and the farmers market! One can never eat enough fresh fruits and veggies!
Here's a question for you.... what are blocks? you say you prefer them to moleskins... I know the moleskins are little sketchbooks right? but I'm not familiar with what a "block" is.

really like your style, loose and vibrant, you make the buildings seem organic, the energy in your painting suggests that if you didn't capture them immediately they might get up and walk away!!
I love it.

I love the church one particularly - the railings, the tree and vines, the windows and the shading beneath the roof. Really nice painting.
